Weaving a Tapestry of Community Support

Pressman, Nick, volunteering time with local youth cub scoutsAt Hub Labels, we believe in the power of communities – whether they are right here at home or within the broader label industry network. For over 40 years, we have considered ourselves fortunate to be an integral part of various communities, and we are committed to giving back as a way of enriching the lives of all those involved.

Our commitment to community support is deeply ingrained in our company culture. As a family business, founded in 1978, we understand the importance of being actively involved in the communities that our employees, friends, and families call home. We are proud to contribute to the well-being of these communities, and we make it a priority to give back whenever and wherever we can.

One of the ways we demonstrate our commitment is by encouraging our Hub Labels employees to actively participate in community service. Each Hub employee is given eight paid hours to donate their time to causes close to their hearts. This not only fosters a sense of responsibility and community engagement among our employees but also allows us to make a positive impact on various non-profit organizations.

Over the years, Hub Labels has had the privilege of supporting a range of non-profit causes that touch the lives of individuals in our communities. Some of the organizations we have had the opportunity to work with include:

  1. Brooke’s House: Supporting addiction recovery and rehabilitation for women.
  2. For Otis Sake: Dedicated to the well-being of animals.
  3. Doey’s House: Providing hospice care and support.
  4. Humane Society of Washington County: Advocating for and protecting the welfare of animals.
  5. Big Brothers – Big Sisters: Mentoring and empowering young people.
  6. Adopt A Highway: Contributing to the cleanliness and beauty of our local environment.
  7. United Way – Washington County: Collaborating for community improvement.
  8. Breast Cancer Awareness-Cumberland Valley: Supporting breast cancer awareness initiatives.
  9. Children in Need: Assisting children facing various challenges.
  10. Red Cross: Contributing to disaster relief efforts.
  11. San-Mar Children’s Village: Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in need.
  12. Justice’s S.A.K.E: Addressing child abuse and supporting organizations that can make a difference.
  13. Pawssible Beginnings: Local animal rescue+shelter.

At Hub Labels, we understand that thriving communities are built on a foundation of support, compassion, and shared responsibility. As we continue our journey, we remain committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those around us, weaving a tapestry of community support that reflects the values at the heart of our company- HONOR~UNITE~BELIEVE. Together, we can create a stronger, more vibrant future for all.
