The Gallus Labelfire 340 digital press is coming to Hub Labels

Gallus Hybrid Digital-Flexo Press

Hub Labels, Inc is proud to announce that the company has signed a contract for the new Gallus Labelfire 340 hybrid digital-flexo label printing press! The press was first previewed at Labelexpo Europe 2015 in Brussels, and it is now scheduled to be delivered to Hub Labels in Q4 of 2016.

Thomas Dahbura, President of Hub Labels Inc, states, “This is the first digital press I’ve seen that does what I want. It integrates everything from the roll to finished labels – including flexo, screen, digital and die cutting — without secondary operations.” Continues Dahbura, “I was impressed by how much energy and capital has been invested in this system to make it successful from all three partners, Gallus, Heidelberg and Fuji. Finally, while we’ve seen others with excellent resolution of 600×600 dpi, this machine, at 1200×1200 dpi, is simply amazing.”

The US-bound Gallus Labelfire 340 press is only the second purchased for use in the United States. Hub Labels has prides itself on embracing technology and innovation which was ingrained into the culture of Hub Labels by the company founders, Bud and Mary Dahbura who are also Thomas’ parents. The company was one of the first to introduce computer-to-plate technology, digital printing, servo-driven presses, linerless labels and many other innovations. There is talk of considering the mobile printers that are available and adding them to the company’s long list of options.
